EXPERIENCE
I needed to relax for a very trying
meeting, so I lit my
SandDollar candle, washed my hair with
SandDollar, bathed in
SandDollar, and slathered on
SandDollar lotion. It was the perfect way
to bring me to a centered place that stayed with me
(thanks to the added scent boost from my
SandDollar Peace be with You balm!) through the
day. ~ Elissa, Thousand Oaks CA
OBSERVATION
Have
you ever wanted to do something - maybe take up an instrument or
write a book - but could not seem to get started? Or did you
talk yourself out of it because you thought I do not have the
time or the talent? In the spirit of
the Japanese technique of Kaizen, one could
take baby steps on the path of the process. Start with one note
at a time, one sentence at a time, one minute at a time ... and
where do you go?
ADVICE
Clean out your closets ... donate clothing,
household goods and other items to the many charities that can
put them to use.
TILT (This I Learned Today)
Are you aware of the movement for a Department of
Peace? The first formal proposal for the establishment
of an official US government peace institution dates to 1792.
The product of efforts by architect and publisher Benjamin
Banneker and physician and educator Dr Benjamin Rush, the
proposal called for establishing a "Peace Office" on equal
footing with the War Department noting the importance to the
welfare of the United states of an office for promoting and
preserving perpetual peace in our country. For information
regarding the present
incarnation of this idea, see the
House of Representatives or The Peace
Alliance.
