TILT (This I Learned Today)
This from my dear friend Val (the artist for Buddha's
Eyes), it is a simple technique for meditation, so you
can get in touch with that part of you that
reaches ethereally. Ohm, peace, amen:
Find a quiet room or place where you will be undisturbed
Listen to your breath, focus on the rhythmic
inhale-exhale pattern
Let thoughts pass like clouds floating by in the sky,
carrying each concern away
Place your hand on your heart
Envision scenes of beauty and love
Say a positive prayer or an affirmation

AND A COUPLE OTHER THINGS
I am
learning to play Mah Jongg -- but like speaking French
-- it is difficult to keep the game straight because I
have no one with whom to play it... However, I
adore the pieces with hand-painted faces. There
was an offer for a version that I could carry on my Palm
Pilot, but, gosh, there is something about those fun
little tiles in my fingers that gets left out and
changes the allure for me. At least for now.
Perhaps when I gain understanding in the tactile sense,
I will be interested in furthering my experience via a
machine.
