EXPERIENCE

The newspaper shows up at my driveway every day.  Some days, I just toss it in the recycle bin due to lack of interest or lack of time.  Other days, I peruse each page.  And then there are al the in-betweens.  In any case, it reminds me that the world is bigger than my daily dilemmas.  And, I guess it is much like this newsletter.  Sometimes it is read and pondered, sometimes set aside, sometimes sent to the old recycle bin...  in any case, I wish you more time to have the possibility of perusing every word.  On other days, there are the archives!

OBSERVATION

Thanks to a dear friend for the giving me this gift, I have a vetiver SandDollar^TM InnerSense^TM on my desk.  When I begin to get frazzled, I notice the vetiver aroma that reminds me of the rainforest and brings me tranquility.  This is truly wonderful.

ADVICE

Develop patience and understanding towards those you care about the most, for if you are too quick to react to the emotional expressions of others, you could regret your actions or statements.

TILT (This I Learned Today)

Anyway you pick them - fresh, frozen or dried - blueberries are packed with nutritional power. The pigments that make them blue (the anthocyanins) are potent antioxidants and provide outstanding protection against the unhealthy things we encounter in our environment. They are a healthy low glycemic-index carbohydrate, a good source of vitamin C and fiber (two grams per one-half cup serving), and may provide anti-aging effects as well.   Plus, they are great with cereal, salads or ice cream....  perhaps a pie?
