EXPERIENCE

Sometimes I find it is difficult to keep the point in mind when in a conflict.  Especially when it seems like I'm not getting a straight answer from anyone.  And, the emotional atmosphere can cloud things even more.  Still, I believe that when you understand all, you can forgive all.  At times, this requires me to let go of my desire to be heard and focus solely on my quest to listen and understand (not necessarily agree).  Get it? Got it!  Good.

OBSERVATION

When one seems to over-react to an event, let this be a sign to let you know deep wounds are being re-injured.  It may be hard to leave the past in the past, if feelings were hurt and need to heal.  Sometimes these wounds lay open unnoticed.  Seek to understand and to provide a safety net ~ for your self as for another ~ where healing can happen.

ADVICE

Let all that is excellent in you be drawn out; allow yourself to be shaped with faithfulness, honor and integrity; and pour out to others as much mercy as you yourself need.

TILT (This I Learned Today)

4.   Cooperation – the understanding that we co-create the world we share; that power ‘over’ is always separating, ending in injustice, oppression, violence, and despair, while power ‘for’ and power ‘with’ and power ‘to’ are the natural expressions of our unlimited creative ability to work together to insure a world that works for all.
