EXPERIENCE

I found myself getting very frustrated because I could not get the outcome I wished to get from my toddler.  He kept getting out of his bed, exercising his ability to fling back the covers and then swing his feet to the floor.  It was a funny game to him as I chased him from side to side of the bed.  There was nothing I could do to change his will and get him to choose sleep.  So, realizing his need for attention and engagement, I went with the flow .  In the next hour, something beautiful happened to me ~  I let go of angst over "bedtime"  and I spent precious time with this really cool 30-month old boy.  We both slept well that night.  For more on Peaceful Parenting, and other great tips for inner peace, check out Living Peace.

OBSERVATION

There is a lot of peace and personal power in the act of observing without reacting and then curiously probing the events in an effort to understand them.

ADVICE

Be flexible with plans and ignore negative attitudes while pursuing your dreams.
