EXPERIENCE

I allowed myself to reach the state of "fed up."  I had succumbed to the beckoning of too many demands and had not taken enough care of me.  I realized this in horror as I hollered "STOP IT" to my toddler in a harsh voice that gave him a startle, and left him not knowing whether to laugh or cry.  "I'm sorry," I told him. Then, I  explained that I was frustrated, and that I was not behaving when I hollered.  Even though I had slathered my lips in LiveInPeace balm, doused my hair in SandDollar conditioner and rubbed H.A.N.D. balm across my knuckles, I had omitted an important ritual - rest & reflection.  It is essential to provide your self with time to renew.  That night, I tucked in my tot and immediately after I tucked in my self.  Everyone around me was glad that I did!

OBSERVATION

It seems that perspective can be one's greatest tool in creating a response or even a reaction to events.  Consider the statement: "I can't control my anxiety" from the point of view: "I can control my anxiety, and I'm learning skills to conquer it." Even reading the two brings a different emotional response.  And, consider the statement: "Why do I always feel so anxious?" from the point of view that: "I often feel anxious, but not all of the time." And another way to unplug stress where the statement: "I shouldn't be late for dinner" becomes "I may be late for dinner. It's unfortunate, but it's alright."

ADVICE

Be yourself ... everyone else is taken.

TILT (This I Learned Today)

In the eBook What the Bleep Does It Mean? by Dov Baron, he outlines the Equation for Manifestation.  The three steps are listed here:

1 - Focus on your desired outcome with a very specific and clear thought.

2 - As you hold the thought, get in touch with the feelings from the experience of this desired outcome.

3 - Deep in your mind, focus on the feelings at the expense of all other thoughts or feelings ~ and do so consistently ~ for your ability to focus exclusively on the feelings determines the degree to which you will experience the desired outcome.

And, I gotta tell you, it works.  Go ahead, create thy day.
